Jessica Lynne Witty’s brand new single, It Made Me Me, hits country radio on 14th August. Born in Denmark, Witty moved to the US in 2010. By 2014, her music was part of Play Network’s global rotation. She recently added her surname, Witty, to her former stage name of Jessica Lynne, and this will be her first release under her new name.
Sometimes we wish we could change things and sometimes we wish things could stay the same. It Made Me Me is a song about remembering that everything we go through in life, good or bad, it makes us who we are.
It Made Me Me is beautifully traditional and heavily reminiscent of the 90s and early 2000s women in country music. Jessica Lynne Witty has tremendous power and control in her voice and she showcases it beautifully in this song. She moves from vulnerable to strong, unafraid and unashamed in the blink of an eye, with bold production and memorable musical motifs. This is a song everyone can relate to, and Witty sings it in a way we’ll talk about as a country classic for decades to come.
Witty recently signed with Gregory Talent and Promotion and has extended her reach from a regional to national act. Her 2020 award-winning single Crazy On The Outside has set the tone for a whole new chapter in her career.
