This week sees the Northamptonshire-based Celine Ellis release a brand new single, Fallen Angel. It’s a step away from her usual sound, having teamed up with producer Matt Bishop at Inspire Studios for the track.
Inspired by the likes of Fleetwood Mac and Melissa Etheridge, Ellis has created a unique soundscape for her music. Folk-rock and Americana blend effortlessly with a touch of country to offer a mellow and melodic track exploring the emotional highs and lows of life in the 21st century. Singing the all-too-relatable story of someone down on their luck fighting to pick themselves up and move forward, Ellis delivers a captivating vocal performance. The single is an instant classic – one we’ll be listening to for a long time to come.
“I wanted to acknowledge all those fallen angels who have turned their lives around and still work hard every day to be the best they can be,” Ellis explains. “This song is for all those amazing people out there who are fighting back.”
